Indian Food Helps - 2018
We will be delivering wonderful Indian lunches to offices around the city during October 2018
The Curry House restaurant which has been voted the Best place in Prague for Indian Food is once again preparing your lunches.  With new dishes on the menu and no delivery charges, life will taste good for you soon. Enjoy more food, give more help to primary school education!
All the proceeds from this action will go towards supporting primary schooling in rural Rajasthan. We will buy equipment for the schools, exercise books and writing materials, school uniforms, hygiene kits and pay school fees for poor families. We also arrange health checks and basic treatment for children and mothers.
One lunch can enable us to buy 2 exercise books or a workbook and pencil. Five lunches can pay for the school fees of one child for a year. All proceeds will be spent on the materials without deduction of any administration costs.

Plant a tree for life
Rotary District of Czech Republic & Slovakia and Rotary Club Prague International have partnered with WeForest to plant trees in Zambia. WeForest have a long track record of successful projects which not only involve planting trees but also creating a sustainable eco system to benefits the community as well as the planet.

The Luanshya district is Zambia's most densely populated region and as a result it's forests have been disappearing. Through a holistic approach that integrates livelihood development with ecological restoration, the project supports farmers to restore the native Miombo woodlands that are disappearing from the region. By employing assisted natural regeneration of of trees and introducing economic activities such as bioenergy and honey production, local communities can restore their forests. More details HERE

End Polio Now
In 1985, with the launch of its flagship PolioPlus program, Rotary became the visionary organization to take on the ambitious goal to end polio worldwide. At that time, polio crippled more than 350,000 children per year in 125 countries. Over the next 30 years, we have mobilized other partners, governments, and communities to immunize the world’s children against polio. We’ve kept our promise to work toward eradicating this disease, and the leadership, commitment, and generosity of Rotary members has brought the world 99.9 percent of the way there.
RCPI contributes regularly to End Polio Now through meeting collections.
