Dear Rotarians and friends,

Every year, Rotarians around the world unite on October 24 to recognize World Polio Day and reaffirm our commitment to a polio-free world.

Since Rotary launched PolioPlus in 1985, global polio cases have been reduced by 99.9%. However, as long as polio exists anywhere, it remains a threat everywhere. In this presentation, Irena Brichta will discuss the final steps required to eradicate wild poliovirus from its last remaining strongholds, how our local club's contributions make a difference, and how you can get involved.

We look forward to seeing you there as we celebrate Rotary’s landmark humanitarian legacy.

We will also hear from our two inbound Rotary Youth Exchange Students Livia Lemos and Doyeon Ha, who will introduce themselves and present their first impressions of Prague and the Czech Republic
