Members of our club were invited to visit RC Trollhattan in Sweden following a project cooperation. President Petr, his wife Jana and past presidents Vlasta and Gerry were superbly hosted by Rotarians from Trollhattan and given a very interesting three days. In Trollhattan they visited the famous canals, the more than a century old hydro power plant and the old Saab factory amongst other interesting things. The second day was spent in the nearby national park which has moose and deer and is a regular hunting place for the king and his friends. Finally, a day trip to the coast, looking at bronze age carvings en route and visiting the seaside town of Smogen before spending time on a beautiful island in the North sea. Only the bravest two dared the 20 degree water. Rotary hospitality at its best!
