Great Club meeting last Monday, as we had a special Belgian Beer Tasting event. We had the opportunity to taste a variety of Belgian Beers -non available outside of Belgium- with their own unique stories, their own character and their own matching glasses, and to participate in a beer auction.
Great Club meeting last Monday, as we had a special Belgian Beer Tasting event. We had the opportunity to taste a variety of Belgian Beers -non available outside of Belgium- with their own unique stories, their own character and their own matching glasses, and to participate in a beer auction.
For this special event, we had the pleasure to be joined by members of Rotary Club Vilvoorde and the creators of the selected beers, Joris Van Eetvelde and Peter Laureys. We thank Rotarian Tim Belon for the organization of this memorable evening, in support of Disaster Aid Europe Beirut Appeal, as well as Roman Ray Straub and Alica Koblovska.
Over CZK 28,000 was raised for Disaster Aid Europe Beirut Appeal, in support of the communities severely affected by the 4th August 2020 explosion in Beirut. A big thank you to all the participants.
p.s. No Belgian lager beers were involved… because the Czechs have the best lager beer in the world!!
