A huge THANK YOU to Naomi SullivanCallender for organising the SANANIM Gala Evening which once again raised funds for this amazing and life transforming charity. SANANIM provides services in the area of prevention, treatment and re-socialization of non-alcoholic drug addictions. SANANIM has a number of different programmes including an Outreach Program where the primary goal is to find the risk users of injected non-alcoholic drugs directly in the streets, to protect them (and, at the same time, the healthy population that is in everyday contact with them) from infectious diseases, to motivate them keep them in the best social and medical state possible before they decide to abstain form substances all together."It is wonderful to see so many generous supporters this evening", said event organiser Naomi. "The funds raised this evening will go towards transforming lives and make a real difference to individuals and families and I would like to thank everyone who contributed on the evening and also the generous supporters and sponsors of the event."
Wonderful company, delicious food, amazing auction prizes accompanied by live swing music from Peter Kroutil and his band made this an evening to remember. This really was an evening which exemplified our Rotary club motto: "having fun - doing good".
