 Galerie Rudolfinum. As artistic and executive director since 2023\, she ha
 s led an effective operational restructure\, boosted audience engagement\,
  and commissioned a series of acclaimed exhibitions by artists including A
 ntony Gormley\, Iván Argote\, Kateřina Vincourová\, Sahej Rahal and the
  group exhibition ‘Poetics of Encryption’. Within the first two years\
 , and with no extra investment\, she increased attendance by 40% and achie
 ved the gallery’s second most-visited year on record. Julia is an award-
 winning curator and art historian. She previously worked as a curator at T
 ate Modern and the National Gallery Prague\, following a past career as a 
 marketeer at the V&A and Royal Academy of Arts. She holds a PhD in History
  of Art from UCL and her monograph ‘Painting Paranoia: Cold War Art and 
 Anti-Communism' is forthcoming from the University of Illinois Press in 20
